At the farms Lage and Açude, in the state of São Paulo, the “Guanandi” plantation started in 2003 and today there are over 250.000 trees. At that time, the idea was to make use of unused areas and idle labor, due to the coffee seasonal aspect.
It was proved right from the beginning the callings for “Guanandi”, either for the soil or for the labor, since the work at the coffee nursery is very similar to what takes to plant “Guanandi”.

Noticing the favorable condition that were available, the landowners decided to set apart more space in their tillage to forest “Guanandi” by creating conditions for a greater project that would be the germ for new modules with the same characteristics. This is how the company R. Campestre Florestal Ltda started.
In juridical terms, R. Campestre Florestal Ltda is a limited liability company (note that Brazil has a law for LLCs that is different from the ones in other countries) and has been doing foresting projects in the following properties.
